This script returns the compound saw miter and saw blade bevel angles for cutting Platonic Solids or or Archimedeans Solids out of wood.
Each edge of the Platonic Solid or or Archimedeans Solid is a hip rafter.
Roof Surface Angle E of the Tetrahedron = 1/2 the corner angle of the face of a Platonic Solid or Archimedeans Solid.
Hip Rafter Backing Angle B of the Tetrahedron = ( 180° - the dihedral angle of the plane) ÷ 2 , between faces of a Platonic Solid or Archimedeans Solid for polygon faces of the same type. Or the Hip Rafter Backing Angle B of the Tetrahedron = 180° - the dihedral angle of the plane - hip rafter backing angle of opposing polygon face. This script will work when the plane between faces of a Platonic Solid or Archimedeans Solid are the same or different types of polygon faces.
